YOUR FIRST AUCTION, STEP BY STEP
Bring a valid driver’s license and a $400 cash deposit for each vehicle you intend to bid on, applied toward your purchase or refunded if you do not buy. Fill out the public buyer registration form in our main office and pick up your bidder badge. Public buyer registration is completed in person.
Browse the run list, then inspect vehicles in person during business hours. Thursday gates open at 9 AM. Note the lane and run number of vehicles you’re interested in, and review their announcements.
Vehicles are sold as-is. Factor buyer fees and any applicable payment fees into your budget before you bid. Ask the office for the current fee schedule and read the public buyer policy.
Regular auctions start Thursday at 6:30 PM Eastern. Special Saturday sales are announced separately; confirm their start times before attending. Listen to the auctioneer and vehicle announcements, keep track of the bid, and make sure you’re comfortable with the purchase before bidding.
If you win, your deposit is applied toward your purchase. The office handles payment, paperwork, and release. You must satisfy the payment and insurance requirements before your vehicle leaves the property. Follow the payment deadline in the public buyer policy.
